The parish council paid for the larger board but it was designed and built for free over several weeks by resident Buck White.
The new unit features toughened, sliding glass and can be accessed at all times to enable residents to display information that's relevant to the village.
One impressed resident described it as a Rolls Royce of noticeboards.
