ReplyDeleteAt a meeting with the planners in February Skelwith said they would build 100 to 150 houses per year, that is a 15 year building site!
ReplyDeletePlease don't refer to this planning proposal as a "New Village". What the developers are proposing is actually a 2500 home NEW TOWN - but without any of the normal facilities for its unfortunate residents!
ReplyDeleteWith 2500 home at an average price of £250K = £650 million for the developers and builders!
As such it should be considered as a Regional New Town - and not in the same way as a small development within an existing village or town.
