Flaxby History Group was set up in 2013 to research the history of the village, give talks, and archive the material found. The results of our research will be shared on this site.

  • Saturday 11 April 2026: spring evening hosted by Alison and William Elliott.
  • Sunday 2 August: garden party hosted by Judy and Trevor Cook.
  • Saturday 17 October 2026: cake and tea event hosted by Jacqui and Mervin Straughan.
  • Sunday 13 December: carol singing; mince pies and mulled wine evening hosted by Caroline and Darren Greenhalgh.
  • Five Blokes and a Brew events are planned for the year and details will be published nearer the time.
