Martin House Children's Hospice at Boston Spa has written to the social committee to express its thanks for the donations from village events over the years.
The £650 generated during last year has brought our total to £11,950. Rebecca Taylor, a member of the Martin House team, said the continued support from Flaxby meant the charity could be there for families across the region, providing expert hospice care and support.
