Flaxby's carol singers have been in fine fund-raising form.
The group boosted the coffers for Martin House Children's Hospice to the tune of £250 when they went into full song around the village.
A further £100 was raised from residents for St Mary's Church restoration fund.
The fund-raising activities were followed by a mulled wine and mince pies at the home of Buck and Kath White.
