On a sunny and warm day, the village marked VE Day's 75th anniversary with a socially-distanced gathering around the green.
Bunting, flags, and balloons were displayed at many houses while music from the era played. Around 40 residents enjoyed the event despite the Covid-enforced restrictions.
At 3pm, villagers raised glasses to the end of the war in Europe, and in remembrance of those who gave their lives during the conflict.
